	The excellent compound retention and longer life of a lap combined with the flexibility and contour-conforming pliability of a buff. Unlike cloth, felt buffs require no “new buff break-in period.” There are no strings or lint, no material waste at all. Felt buffs last longer and are cleaner to use than traditional cloth buffs. Felt absorbs compound and retains it longer, so you use less and work faster. There is no need to bear into the buff; felt buffs let the compound do the work. All have 4 rows of stitching. Measure 6" diameter x 3/4" thick felt (6 ply). Leather centers. Use on a tapered spindle. Available in 2 hardnesses: Our Soft Felt Buff is very flexible, follows surface contours well and is perfect for rouge and other polishing compounds. Medium Felt Buff is semiflexible & designed for use with tripoli on soft metals. Can also be used with rouge on harder metals like platinum & stainless steel.
