Flow Point: 2,190° F (1200° C) . 1400 Medium — contains 5% platinum with the balance made of palladium/white gold. Normally used in assembling findings. Flow Point: 2,660° F (1460° C) . 1700 Hard — contains 25% platinum with the balance composed of palladium/white gold. Used for ring sizing and other jobs where joints will be visible. Flow Point: 2,910° F (1600° C).
